Program Objectives

The objective of this training is to provide employees responsible for occupational safety and health within an organization with the essential foundational knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to prevent industrial accidents and occupational diseases and to effectively organize and manage occupational safety and health activities.

Knowledge Gained by Employees

This course will provide a basic understanding of occupational safety and health laws, regulations, rules, and standards; foundational knowledge about the characteristics of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic factors that negatively affect employee health and safety, as well as the accidents, poisonings, and diseases that can arise from them; a general understanding of the organization of employee health check-ups and surveillance and occupational safety and health training; essential knowledge for identifying the causes of industrial accidents, acute poisoning, and occupational diseases, assessing risks, and organizing preventive measures; and foundational knowledge of the structure and organization of an organization’s occupational safety and health management.

Skills Gained by Employees

Employees will be able to work in compliance with relevant occupational safety and health laws, regulations, rules, technical standards, and standards; develop organizational rules and documents related to occupational safety and health; assess the risks of industrial accidents, acute poisoning, and occupational diseases; identify the need for preventive measures; effectively organize training, guidance, and hazard communication to inform and educate relevant officials and all employees about the causes of accidents, hazards, and influencing factors; plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of accident and occupational disease prevention; investigate and record incidents, identify causes, and analyze them; and supervise the organization of employee health check-ups and surveillance.
